PCW Bike Maintenance Fundamentals Workshop

Most riders know when their bike doesn’t feel quite right, a gear starts clicking, a brake begins rubbing or a new noise appears but knowing what to check next isn’t always obvious.

The Precision Cycle Works Bike Maintenance Fundamentals Workshop is designed to change that.

In this practical, hands-on session, you’ll bring your own bike and learn how to inspect it properly, understand the basics of how its key components work and carry out the simple maintenance and adjustments that can keep it running smoothly.

We’ll work through bike health checks, tyres and wheels, chain and drivetrain care, gear indexing, brake inspection, bearing checks and basic maintenance routines.

More importantly, you’ll learn how to recognise the difference between something you can confidently adjust yourself and something that should be checked by a mechanic.

Places are limited to five riders to keep the workshop personal, practical and focused on your own bike.
